Over 8 million taxpayers who completed their 2013/2014 tax returns online by 31 January 2015 now have access to their summaries.
These statements show how much tax and National Insurance a person paid during the tax year and how their payments contributed to public expenditure.
You can view electronic summaries by logging into HMRC’s online services and selecting the option „View your 2013 to 2014 tax summary.”
Millions of PAYE taxpayers who do not file a tax return have already received their paper summaries in the post. Others will receive paper versions once their 2013/2014 tax affairs have been processed. Taxpayers who have submitted late returns online will have access to their summaries once their overdue returns have been submitted.
Any taxpayer who does not receive their summary can use HMRC’s tax calculator to estimate their tax liability and see their contribution to public spending. The HMRC App, which includes the calculator, is free to download from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store (search for „HMRC”).
